What to discuss
with the shop.
A cabin A/C complaint and an engine cooling concern are not the same fault. Contact the shop with the symptoms and your vehicle details to discuss service availability.
- Air-conditioning concerns
- Cabin cooling performance
- Engine cooling-system concerns
- Overheating diagnosis
What have
you noticed?
- Air from the vents is warmer than expected
- Cooling performance changes while driving
- An engine temperature warning or a temperature change
Before you call
Note whether the concern happens at idle, on the road or all the time. Mention any unusual sounds, smells or recent cooling-system work.
Does warm air mean the A/C just needs refrigerant?
Warm air can have different causes. Describe the concern to the shop so the system can be assessed before deciding what work is needed.
